Basrcroft Medal Lecture 2017
The School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences is pleased to announce that the recipient of this year's Barcroft Medal will be Professor Sir Ian Wilmut, leader of the research team at Edinburgh University's Roslin Institute which cloned Dolly the Sheep in 1996. Sir Ian will present a lecture entitled “From Dolly the Sheep to Treatment of Human Disease” at 3:00pm on Wednesday 1 November 2017 in Lecture Theatre 1, Medical Biology Centre, 97 Lisburn Road, Belfast.
Light refreshments will be served afterwards in the foyer of the Medical Biology Centre.
